LineageOS 24.0

LineageOS has released version 24.0 based on Android 17, marking a significant milestone as the project approaches its 10-year anniversary on December 24, 2026. The update includes security patches through October 2026, Material Design 3 updates to core applications, and new tools including Canvas, a built-in image editor, and an updated Android TV launcher. The development team completed the rebase earlier than anticipated due to previous adaptation efforts to Google's code changes.
