A new Glean report found that white-collar workers spend an average of 6.4 hours per week "botsitting" AI—feeding it information, checking outputs, and fixing errors—work that is often tedious, unrecognized, and exhausting. Despite 75% of workers saying AI makes them more productive individually, only 13% report their organizations performing significantly better, and workers spending excessive time on botsitting are 73% more likely to seek new jobs. The most successful companies are addressing this by helping employees access proper context and training rather than simply deploying more AI.
