We Know 15,579 Websites Are Infected. How Do We Tell Them?

Report URI has identified 15,579 websites infected with malicious JavaScript that collectively receive over 135 million monthly visits, but faces a major challenge in notifying them due to the scale far exceeding their responsible disclosure capabilities. The infections range from credit card skimmers and malware redirects to supply chain attacks and domain hijacking, with most notifications going unanswered despite significant effort. The organization is seeking help to solve this disclosure problem as they can identify compromised sites much faster than they can alert affected organizations.
