In May 2026, 166 Rust developers gathered in Utrecht for the second annual Rust All-Hands conference, which featured 73 sessions across three days focused on governance issues, project coordination, and the technical evolution of Rust. The event also included a co-located unconference with six ecosystem projects (Bevy Engine, Ariel OS, Linebender, and others) and discussions on topics ranging from const generics and compiler internals to interoperability and project culture.
