Open Repair Data Standard – Open Repair Alliance
The Open Repair Data Standard (ORDS) is a shared framework developed by the Open Repair Alliance for collecting and standardizing repair data on small electrical and electronic products from community repair events worldwide. By combining data from diverse sources using a common standard, organizations can identify global repair trends, common failures, and fixes across regions and products. The standard currently tracks product information (category, brand, manufacture year), repair details (problem, status, barriers), and session information (date, group organizer), with datasets published every six months under a Creative Commons license.
