Expanding Project Glasswing

Anthropic is expanding Project Glasswing, its initiative to use AI to secure critical software infrastructure, from 50 initial partners to approximately 150 new organizations across 15+ countries and industries including power, water, healthcare, and communications. The expansion follows early success where initial partners discovered over 10,000 high- or critical-severity security flaws, and reflects concerns that powerful AI cybersecurity capabilities will soon become widely available and potentially misused. Anthropic aims to help the software industry adapt to this new threat landscape by providing safe access to advanced AI security tools and shifting focus from vulnerability detection to disclosure, fixing, and deployment of patches.
