CoMaps integration with the wider FLOSS ecosystem – CoMaps

CoMaps, a free and open-source mapping app, is integrating with other FLOSS Android applications to create a viable open-source alternative ecosystem. The app now works with Gadgetbridge to provide turn-by-turn navigation on smartwatches and with OpenVitals to display navigation data during outdoor activities, all while maintaining user privacy through permission-based data sharing. FLOSS developers can access CoMaps' data through documented APIs on Codeberg to build their own integrations.
