Harvey raised 500M for legal AI, I built the same and open sourced it

A developer created and open-sourced CaseCite, a self-hosted legal AI research platform comparable to the venture-backed startup Harvey, which raised $500 million. CaseCite enables law firms to upload documents, conduct legal research, review contracts, and draft documents using AI while maintaining full control over their data and infrastructure. The platform prioritizes privacy by keeping documents and search indexes on users' own servers and only sending queries to AI providers configured with the users' own API keys.
