Discord will soon let anyone find public server messages through Google

Discord is making content from public "Discoverable Servers" (those with 1,000+ members) searchable on Google starting mid-December 2026. Server admins and individual users will have control over whether their content appears in web search results, with both groups able to opt out through their settings. The change aims to help people discover Discord communities and conversations while maintaining privacy controls for private servers and direct messages.
