Amazon Cognito now supports multi-Region replication

Amazon Cognito now supports multi-Region replication, allowing users to synchronize identity data to a secondary user pool in a standby region for improved authentication resilience and disaster recovery. In case of a regional outage, traffic can be redirected to the secondary pool while maintaining user sessions and authentication methods like username/password and federation protocols. The feature is available as an add-on for Essentials or Plus tier user pools across multiple AWS regions globally.
