Apple has released quantum-secure cryptographic implementations of ML-KEM and ML-DSA algorithms in its corecrypto library, along with formal mathematical proofs verifying their correctness against NIST standards. The company is also publishing the formal verification tools and libraries it developed to ensure these algorithms are correctly implemented across its 2.5 billion active devices, advancing security assurance for critical software. These quantum-resistant cryptographic methods are being deployed across iMessage, VPN, and other sensitive communications to protect against future threats from quantum computers.
