Why open source rocks – a new SM750 (Silicon Motion GPU) HDMI Driver
An open source Linux display driver for the Silicon Motion SM750 GPU has been released, specifically designed for the SE-DP750A-HDMI PCIe card to enable HDMI output at high resolutions like 2048-wide or ultrawide 2560x1080 displays. The project is experimental and currently supports only the specific tested SM750 board configuration; other SM750 variants with different outputs or transmitters are not yet supported.
