Who's running all those tiny RPKI servers?

# Summary RPKI (Resource Public Key Infrastructure) is a security system that prevents BGP routing attacks by allowing IP address owners to cryptographically authorize which networks can announce their prefixes. While most Route Origin Authorizations (ROAs) are published by the five major Regional Internet Registries, a significant number are also published by smaller, independently operated servers run by cloud providers, ISPs, hobbyists, and other organizations. Researchers investigated who operates these smaller RPKI servers and what motivates their operation.
