Tribblix: the retro illumos distribution

Tribblix is an open-source illumos-based operating system created by Peter Tribble that combines retro aesthetics with modern components. The latest milestone 41 release is now available for both x86 and SPARC architectures, though x86 has more stable hardware support while 32-bit hardware support has been completely removed.
