Tencent Releases and Open-Sources Tencent Hy4 Preview

Tencent has released Tencent Hy4 preview, an open-source large language model with 770B total parameters and over 1M token context window, designed for productivity tasks in coding, office work, and scientific research. The model ranks among the top-tier open-source options and outperformed competitors like GLM-5.3 and Kimi K3 in Tencent's internal evaluation of engineering tasks. Hy4 preview is available for free on Tencent's applications WorkBuddy and CodeBuddy for two weeks and can also be accessed via API through Tencent Cloud and OpenRouter.
