Steam Client Is Now Faster Than Epic's New Vibe Coded Launcher

Epic Games launched a preview of its new "vibe-coded" launcher yesterday, claiming superior speed over Steam, but Valve responded within 24 hours with a client update that made Steam faster than Epic's new version (5.23 seconds vs. 5.47 seconds boot time). Beyond performance, Epic's launcher still lacks numerous features that Steam has, including community forums, user reviews, screenshot sharing, mod support, and family library sharing.
