OpenCode 2.0

OpenCode 2.0 introduces a major overhaul featuring a background service that automatically runs on your machine, allowing the TUI, web interface, and desktop app to communicate through a single central process. The update includes a completely redesigned API built from scratch to support the diverse needs of millions of daily users, along with improved session management capabilities and a new @opencode/client package for programmatic access. Key improvements include automatic local service discovery for scripts and scheduled tasks, the ability to expose the service to other hosts, and native apps in development that leverage this new architecture.
