Show HN: Laptop is the last place your secrets are still in plaintext
JitPass is a macOS-only tool that moves plaintext secrets (API keys, credentials, environment variables) from files like .env and ~/.aws/credentials into an encrypted vault locked by Touch ID biometrics. When applications need credentials, JitPass prompts the user for biometric authentication before providing the secret in memory, while keeping only decoys on disk to protect against malware and supply chain attacks.
