Awsmux is a tool that enables running AWS CLI commands across multiple accounts in parallel with significant performance gains. In benchmarks against standard AWS CLI usage with AI agents, awsmux demonstrated 1.3x to 5.4x faster execution, 1.3x to 2.9x lower costs, and up to 7.4x fewer output tokens, while maintaining safety through approval boundaries that prevent unauthorized mutations. The tool can execute commands across hundreds of accounts simultaneously using 100 parallel workers by default.
