Seneca: On Anger, Book I
Seneca the Younger, a Roman Stoic philosopher and advisor to Emperor Nero, authored "On Anger, Book I," a 21-chapter work examining the nature and management of anger. Written by a prominent figure of the Silver Age of Latin literature, the treatise represents classical philosophical thought on controlling one's emotions. Seneca himself met a tragic end in AD 65 when he was forced to take his own life following accusations of plotting against Nero.
