Rewriting Prime Agent in Rust
Prime Agent, a tool that has been downloaded over 300,000 times and processed 8 trillion tokens since its August launch, has been completely rewritten in Rust using a swarm of over 2,000 agents operating across 10,000+ sandboxes. The Rust rewrite improves performance and resource efficiency while providing compile-time safety guarantees, better concurrency handling, and eliminates the overhead of JavaScript runtimes and garbage collection. The rewrite also enabled new features including Windows support, session crash isolation, and a more modular codebase architecture.
