The PSPi 6 is a custom circuit board that replaces a PSP 1000's mainboard with a Raspberry Pi, enabling it to run retro game emulators, Linux distributions, and other Pi-compatible software while retaining the original PSP controls and adding features like battery monitoring and adjustable display brightness.
