Microsoft-Decision-1, our model for fast decision-making

Microsoft has introduced Microsoft-Decision-1, a new AI model specifically designed for fast decision-making tasks like routing, classification, and workflow control. Unlike large language models that generate text, this decision model delivers structured outputs that software can act on immediately, achieving the highest accuracy across 36 benchmarks while operating 4.5 times faster than competing models. The model is available now through Microsoft Foundry and will soon be accessible via OpenRouter.
