Proton Flock Camera Map

Proton has created an interactive map showing the locations of over 170,000 Flock Safety license plate readers across the United States, based on data a cybersecurity researcher obtained from Flock's exposed servers. Flock cameras photograph all passing vehicles regardless of suspicion, recording license plates, timestamps, and vehicle details that are stored in a searchable database accessible to police departments across state lines, raising concerns about potential misuse and surveillance. The map allows citizens to search by ZIP code to see where these cameras operate near them and make informed decisions about their movement and privacy.
