Nvidia – open-source auto-ontology

Nvidia has released Auto Ontology, an open-source library that creates a context layer for AI agents to reliably access and understand enterprise data. The tool builds ontologies from metadata, reconciles definitions across systems, and exposes this information to agents through multiple interfaces (MCP, CLI, API), enabling agents to discover data sources, validate queries against certified definitions, and improve accuracy over time. Auto Ontology is distributed under Apache License 2.0 and currently does not accept external contributions.
