NerdLens: Mirror your computer with cardboard VR

NerdLens is an open-source VR desktop application that allows users to stream their computer screen to Google Cardboard headsets using an iPhone, eliminating the need for expensive VR equipment. The system captures desktop frames as JPEGs, compresses them, and transmits them via USB to render on a virtual screen inside a stereoscopic Cardboard view. The project is currently an early proof of concept targeting iOS that requires manual source builds and is primarily designed for experimentation and hacking.
