Mixing Visual and Textual Code

Researchers have developed Hybrid ClojureScript, the first programming language that seamlessly integrates visual and textual syntax, allowing developers to express geometric and domain-specific ideas using a mix of both formats. The language preserves static code reasoning and works within existing programmer workflows, with visual elements displayed as interactive mini-GUIs in enhanced IDEs while remaining as textual representations in standard editors.
