Lidl Introduces the European Payment Method Wero in Germany

Lidl has become the first grocery retailer in Germany to integrate Wero, a European payment method, into its online shop on Lidl.de. The payment solution enables customers to transfer money directly from their bank accounts in real-time through their banking app, offering increased convenience and security. The service is available to customers of 18 participating banks across Europe, where over 56 million bank customers already have access to Wero.
