Andrew Ng has launched LearnVector, an AI company funded by a $100M investment from Coursera, to create personalized one-to-one learning experiences powered by AI. Unlike generic chatbots that can harm learning through cognitive offloading, LearnVector aims to build a trustworthy learning guide that plans customized paths, adapts to individual learning styles, and supports skill mastery, with products expected by early 2027. The company addresses the historical limitation that great teaching has been scarce due to cost and geography, now solvable through AI technology.
