Gooey: A GPU-accelerated UI framework for Zig
Gooey is a GPU-accelerated UI framework for the Zig programming language that supports macOS (Metal), Linux (Vulkan/Wayland), and browsers (WebGPU/WASM). It features a declarative, component-based architecture with capabilities including GPU rendering, animations, drag-and-drop, accessibility support, and native file dialogs, while maintaining zero external dependencies by linking only to platform system frameworks. The framework is currently in early development with an evolving API and includes multiple example applications demonstrating its functionality.
