Godot will no longer accept AI-authored code contributions

The Godot Foundation has announced it will ban AI-authored code contributions and AI-generated text in communications, citing an overwhelming influx of low-quality AI submissions that has become "increasingly draining and demoralizing" for human reviewers. The policy update aims to reduce the burden on maintainers while ensuring that contributions come from accountable humans who can understand and fix their own code. Contributors will be permitted to use AI only for minor tasks and must disclose such usage.
