God of War on PSP, recompiled to WebAssembly and running in the browser
A developer has successfully recompiled God of War games from PSP into WebAssembly to run directly in web browsers without an emulator. The project translates the games' MIPS machine code into C++, compiles it to WebAssembly, and reimplements the PSP's operating system and graphics chip using WebGL2, achieving 60 frames per second at higher resolutions with full audio and on-screen touch controls. Players can bring their own disc images to convert into playable web pages locally.
