FSFE intervenes against Apple before EUCJ for the second time

The Free Software Foundation Europe has been granted permission to intervene in a European Court of Justice case where Apple is challenging the European Commission's decision requiring it to provide software and hardware interoperability for its devices under the Digital Markets Act. This is the FSFE's second intervention in DMA-related litigation involving Apple, and it aims to ensure that Free Software developers' interests are represented alongside industry perspectives in what the court recognized as a case with significant impact on open-source software development. The FSFE will submit arguments defending interoperability obligations and software freedom as Apple contests the Commission's procedures for implementing these requirements.
