FreeCORE is an independently maintained operating system based on TrueNAS CORE 13.3 and FreeBSD, with version 15.0-U1 now stable and available for download. Users can upgrade directly from TrueNAS CORE 13.3 to FreeCORE 15.0 in place, with source code available on Codeberg and GitHub.
