Fedora 45 Atomic Desktops Look to Allow for Web-Based Remote Installations

Fedora 45 is proposing to support web-based remote installations of Fedora Atomic Desktop images through the Anaconda WebUI, allowing users to boot systems with a specific kernel parameter and complete OS installation from a web browser on another machine via HTTPS. The feature would include pin-based authentication for security and initially be offered as a tech preview, benefiting Atomic Desktop variants like Silverblue and Kinoite.
