Cloudflare won a court case in France after Canal+ sought €50,000 daily penalties for allegedly failing to block pirate sports streaming sites. The Paris court ruled in Cloudflare's favor, accepting the company's argument that it was complying with blocking orders through its CDN service and that its DNS resolver architecture made blocking technically unfeasible, despite blocking only about 73% of the ordered domains.
