Classic PC demoscene productions from the early 1990s can now run natively in web browsers through a recompilation process that converts original DOS code to WebAssembly. The technique records x86 CPU execution, translates it to C code with precise cycle timing, and models the original hardware (VGA, Sound Blaster, timer) to faithfully reproduce demos like "Unreal" and "Second Reality" exactly as they ran in 1992-1993.
