Bot Company allegedly trashing Airbnb rentals with their prototype robots

A San Francisco startup called the Bot Company allegedly rented multiple Airbnb properties under false pretenses to test household robots, causing significant damage to homes and belongings. One homeowner, Sean Donovan, discovered the scheme through security footage and damage assessment, and is now suing for over $12,000; at least three individuals connected to the scheme have accumulated negative reviews from 12 other Bay Area hosts for property damage and lease violations.
