Italian technology company Bending Spoons has agreed to acquire Airtable, a U.S. software platform that combines spreadsheet and database capabilities, for $1.285 billion in an all-cash deal. This marks Bending Spoons' first acquisition since its Nasdaq IPO last month, continuing its aggressive expansion strategy following earlier purchases of AOL and Eventbrite. The transaction is expected to close by year-end, subject to regulatory approvals.
