WordCraft is an open-source, clean-room reimplementation of Microsoft Word built entirely in Rust, offering a fast word processor with familiar Word features like the ribbon interface, styles, tables, and track changes. The application reads and writes .docx files and runs natively on macOS, Windows, Linux, BSD, and in web browsers via WebAssembly, providing users with a cross-platform alternative while maintaining the workflow they already know from Microsoft Word.
