Ableton Extensions SDK

Ableton has introduced an Extensions SDK for Live 12 Suite that allows users to build custom JavaScript tools to modify and automate their music productions by interacting with tracks, clips, MIDI, and other elements. Extensions are accessed through right-click context menus and can transform MIDI, analyze song structure, automate tasks, and create generative patterns without requiring coding experience. The SDK is available in beta and runs on NodeJS, with a community sharing experimental tools on Discord.
