2026 Hugo Awards

LAcon V, the 84th World Science Fiction Convention, presented the 2026 Hugo Awards on August 30th, 2026, with "The Everlasting" by Alix E. Harrow winning Best Novel and "The River Has Roots" by Amal El-Mohtar winning Best Novella. The complete results across all categories, from Best Short Story to the Lodestar Award for Best YA Book, were published on the LAcon V website, with the 2026 Hugo Award trophy base designed by Scott Lefton and the Lodestar Award designed by H Emiko Ogasawara.
