# Summary The Internet Archive's Digital Library of Amateur Radio and Communications (DLARC) has added newly digitized college radio collections spanning over a century of student radio history, starting with Harvard's Weld Phonepterograph Company in 1906, widely recognized as the first college radio club. Recent acquisitions from Dartmouth College, Milwaukee School of Engineering, Duke University, and other institutions document the evolution of college radio from early amateur radio clubs in the 1920s to campus broadcast stations and modern student-operated stations. These materials include historical documents, QSL cards, station records, and ephemera that illustrate how college radio developed from experimental wireless operations into distinct amateur and broadcast radio organizations.
