Zed has introduced Delta, a multiplayer coding environment that allows developers and AI agents to collaborate in real time while keeping code and conversations connected. Delta features DeltaDB, a system that replicates conversations and code changes together, allowing comments to remain anchored to code as it evolves and preserving the context of how decisions were made. The platform is now entering private beta and works alongside existing git repositories, enabling teams to review work and understand the reasoning behind code changes without losing context.
