YuE2 · Frontier Music with Symbolic Planning

YuE2 is a new music generation model that combines symbolic and audio approaches to create songs with quality comparable to Suno v5, scoring 6.9632 on SongBench compared to Suno v5's 6.8721. The model first generates an editable musical score, then produces vocals and accompaniment, allowing users to interactively modify melody, lyrics, tempo, and arrangement through a conversational interface. With 3.59 billion parameters, YuE2 represents a frontier approach to music composition that bridges traditional musical notation with modern audio generation.
