A Ukrainian drone attack struck Yandex's major data center in Russia's Kaluga region on October 9, completely disabling several modules of the facility. This marks the second significant attack on Yandex infrastructure within 48 hours, following a previous strike on a data center in the Ryazan region. The Kaluga facility, Russia's largest Yandex data center with a capacity of 63 megawatts, was designed to support the company's cloud services and internal operations.
