Xiaomi has launched the MiMo-v2.5 series of AI models with significantly reduced pricing, including a base MiMo-v2.5 model priced at $0.0028 per million input tokens with cache hits—representing a dramatic price reduction amid intensifying AI market competition. The new models feature improved capabilities including omni-modal understanding (text, image, video, audio), 1 million token context windows, and native agent performance comparable to Claude Opus 4.6. The company is also introducing complementary products like MiMo Claw for autonomous task execution and MiMo Code for developers, along with free or low-cost speech synthesis and recognition services.
