The site provides multiple ways to explore the data, including regional maps, sortable tables, thematic collections (night trains, mountain railways, heritage lines), and journey guides between cities, all freely accessible without signup. The project, formerly called TrainRouter, was rebranded to accurately reflect its function as an informational atlas rather than a journey planner.
