Why Microsoft Entertainment Pack had a sticker announcing that it had Tetris?

The original Microsoft Entertainment Pack for Windows featured a bright red sticker announcing "Now includes TETRIS for Windows!" because licensing negotiations for Tetris hadn't been finalized when the boxes were printed. To avoid potentially destroying an entire production run if the deal fell through, the company printed boxes without any Tetris mention and applied stickers only after the license was secured. Later box runs incorporated Tetris directly into the artwork and renamed the product "Microsoft Entertainment Pack 1," making the original stickered version a rare collectible.
