White Rabbit – sub-nanosecond synchronization for large distributed systems

White Rabbit is a synchronization technology that provides sub-nanosecond accuracy for large distributed systems, enabling precise time-tagging of data and deterministic delivery across thousands of nodes connected via Ethernet over distances up to 10 km. The project features open-source hardware, firmware, and software, with CERN actively recruiting FPGA developers to advance the technology.
